Cleared Criminal Record Checks (CRC) are valid if they have been completed in the last 5 years.

If you do not have a CRC, please email vancouver@takingstrides.org with your full name for a letter of proof to show at your nearest police station. As of January 1 2023, Vancouver Police Department conducts CRCs free of charge with a letter of proof. If you live outside of Vancouver, you can obtain a CRC from your local police station.
